Who is DIDAXIA?
We have 30 + years experience teaching languages. We opened our doors in Cancun in 2000.
We started with English only and have added languages as requests from students came in.
Where do our students come from?
For English classes, we receive students mainly from Mexico, Central and South America. Students working in Cancun for foreign based companies require English as a condition for continuation of employment and those that work in the hotel zone who already speak English come to us for classes in German, French, and Italian, for advancement.
For Spanish classes, Didaxia enrolls students from all over the world. Many students come to us by referral of word of mouth. We’ve taught Spanish to students from England, Australia, Sweden, South Africa, Belgium, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Bulgaria; yet most of our students are American or Canadian.
We also teach Spanish to students whose native language is Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. Mostly they specialize in the reception of tourists and must communicate in Spanish with the locals.
HOME STAY: most of our students book their hotels before their trip. Some share housing with friends or relatives, own apartments, villas or time-share; so Didaxia does not currently offer home stay options.
LOCATION: Didaxia is right at the entrance to the hotel zone. Very central and easy to get to. Several banks are one block away; buses run by every minute; taxis drive by empty continuously; supermarkets are within walking distance; plenty of restaurants to choose from. Didaxia is within walking distance to Cancun’s largest and busiest Shopping Mall.
